Today I set up a facebook page for Classical Guitar in Singapore. For years I’ve been trying to blog about the classical guitar scene as much as possible.
But as I’ve gotten busier, it’s become more challenging for me to attend events . Sadly, I’ve had to turn down or miss several invitations by close friends, acquaintances and colleagues. So I’ve decided to set-up a facebook page to cater to anyone with an interest in the classical guitar in Singapore.
It doesn’t matter which club you belong to or what your skill level is. If you have an interest in the classical guitar in Singapore, then you belong on this page with me, and the rest of the classical guitar society of Singapore.
I intend to take a ‘light touch’ approach in moderating this page. I highly encourage all members to share their videos, photos, blog articles and events. The classical guitar community in Singapore is small, but I hope that this page serves a nexus that brings together this like-minded, highly passionate group of people.
This page is meant for everyone. I am not the only moderator. Marcus Loh, Kevin Loh, Andrew Wee and Jeremy Zhou have also been added as moderators. I hope to add more moderators to the page, specifically persons who have exhibited good character and have a strong interest in trying to create a more vibrant and dynamic classical guitar scene.
