Thanx for your article on ADHD/Dyslexic students. I have both of these conditions & plan to incorporate your suggestions into my learning/practice process.
Thank you so much for your article on latest models for Yamaha guitars, I have finally decided and bought a Alhambra 3C. In fact, I’ve spoken with you over the phone when I was shopping for a classical guitar.
I was pretty keen on the Yamahas CG162 & 182 but when I tried the Alhambra, I was sold. At first, I had tried the 2C but when I had my hands on the 3C, I have made up my mind.
Having stopped playing for many years, I’m now re-learning the whole process. The 3C is very playable, exudes warmth and its sound is really mellow. Personally, I think it’s a good guitar for beginners like me, as it inspires whenever you pick up the guitar.
Don’t mention it. I merely dispense my experiences and opinions and hope that someone would benefit from them. I’m glad that you did.
I’ve had plenty of students purchase the Alhambra 3C, and they tend to sound fantastic on them. It is a great guitar for the money and I hope it serves you well. Happy playing and thanks for visiting!
Hi Dedrick, I’ve recently come across your blog and the FB page of Classical Guitar Singapore. As a guitar enthusiast, I like to follow classical guitar happenings. Here in Manila, an all-female classical guitar trio has really impressed many enthusiasts like myself. Last week they performed in Brunei. Here is a video of a number that really impressed.
If you can get them to perform in Singapore, I’m sure they’ll not disappoint 🙂 BTW, I’m not their manager, and I am not commercially connected to them in any way. I do know them.
I do not provide impresario services, and I have no interest in influencing those who do. I support the local classical guitar scene by making my skills, knowledge and reach, available where possible.
I leave impresario services to others who have a financial stake in this business.
Hi Dedrick,
I’ve just found your website, great work. It’s good to see Judical is touring he’s a great player, we’ve just had Bill Kanengiser from the LGQ visit Sydney
Feel free to drop me a line if you need any information on Australian classical guitars.
Thanks for dropping by to say hi. Honestly, we don’t see many Australian classical guitars in Singapore, but I’ve always wanted to get a feel for how they sound and play. I’ll look you up if I ever vacation to Australia!
Hi Dedrick,
i come from Hong Kong and got the exactly same contact no. of yours.
Someone msg me ask for the guitar price recently.
Please can you add back ur area code (+65 ?) so that make it more clear.

Hi,
Enjoyed your articles and reviews. Wondering if you have tried Yamaha’s CG171C and perhaps share your opinion on it? Thanks
It’s ok. Based on today’s offerings I’d rather go for an equivalent Alhambra Guitar instead over a YamahaCG171.

Hi Sim,
Sorry about that! I’ve added the +65 country code.
Hi,
Are you the supplier of KILN guitar dehumidifier here in SG?
I’m interested to get one, how should I go about it?
Your help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Alex
Nope, google Adam from Guitaring Passionately.
