Holy hell. Blackberry has launched one of the lamest and most uncool promos I’ve seen recently.
In a desperate move to win back App developers, they commissioned what is probably the nerdiest cover of REO Speedwagon’s “Keep on Loving You”. Each band member appears to be a quantifiable nerd, and I found the mental imagary of nerd-on-nerd loving highly disturbing.
If I had a BlackBerry, I would throw it to the ground and walk away in disgust. What a terrible way to position your brand.
