What a crazy period it’s been for me.
I’ve been ridiculously busy! I’m preparing for a recital I’m giving co-giving with James Heng at the Library@Esplanade on 27 August. I recently had a photo shoot with photographer Cheng Peng Hui and I’ve been buried under a mountain of product reviews!
This upcoming rectal will be the first public performance I’ve give in 6 years. I did a private performance for Ngee Ann Polytechnic Strings a while back. I hope that warm-up performance was enough of a tune-up.
I’m looking to hold more performances so I’m going to scale down the number of students I teach. Existing students need not worry, I will continue teaching them for as long as they want.
I was looking to refine my recording set-up and possibly look at producing some videos, but I’m so busy it’ll have to wait.
Jeremy and I have also been exploring the possibility of resurrecting the Singapore Classical Guitar Society. We’ve met with Alex Abishenegaden, Ernest Kwok, Marcus Loh, Andrew Wee and the folks at Toa Payoh Guitar Club to name a few.
I’m not optimistic it’ll happen though.
Then there’s the Singapore Guitar Show that’s happening at the end of the year. I’m scheduled to perform there too.
I’ve also been receiving a lot of new and interesting products and I hope to post reviews for them soon, so stay tuned!
Nice photo man !
Good luck for the upcoming performance 🙂
Thanks dude! I enjoyed your recital. Can’t wait for your next performance. 🙂
I’m slightly pissed off. 2 days after I spent $50 printing collaterals (posters and fliers) for this recital, PM announces he’s holding polling day for Presidential elections on my recital day! the library will be closed because it’s a national holiday.
Now I need to postpone the recital by a week and spend more money printing new collaterals. Dulan!
🙁
