Today I met with Irene Wong, the Marketing Executive from Society for the Physically (SPD) Disabled Ability Enterprise.
She showed us SPD’s premium paper products and I was very impressed.
Premium paper products have been in vogue in recent years and I’ve become a fan of these products. I must say that the quality of SPD’s paper products is very impressive. It is as good or even better than many of the established stores I have visited. It’s cheaper too. Prices range from $4 to $15 with more elaborate jobs and products costing more.
Irene is a designer by training and when I spoke to her, it became evident that she is wildly passionate about what she does. It really shows in the quality of SPD’s products.
She works with a small team of craftsmen with physically disabilities. They can even produce customized items in very small quantities, great if you want to hand out some personalized gifts.
SPD also does book binding, restoration, project/portfolio binding, web design & maintenance, direct mail, printed and digital e-cards and administrative support services.
I’m thinking about asking them to help me produce my updated portfolio! SPD is so good, they even did some book binding jobs for my previous employer, Ogilvy & Mather.
If you are in the market for premium paper products or want to create customized corporate gives, consider giving SPD a try. Their products are of high quality, they are reasonably priced and it’s for a great cause. Irene is also very friendly and knowledgeable as well.
Products can be purchased at the SPD showroom at:
