Every year I make 2-3 big purchases of music books. I typically import books from overseas, but I decided to make a local purchase this time.
I try to reinvest 10-20% of the money I make teaching classical guitar back into my students. Investments range from expanding my library so that I can give them more varied material to buying more guitars for specialized use.
I’m quite ‘welfare’ that way. I work very hard to give my students the best learning environment I can. It eats into my profits quite substantially but I’d like to pamper them for as long as financially feasible.
