In Ngee Ann Polytechnic I studied Photo Journalism during my final year and was given an AD (an A grading with high distinction; this is only given to the top 5%) by my lecturer Wayne Umehara.
It’s been years since I’ve been behind the lens of a SLR. But I recently found myself behind the lens, performing food photography for a local foodstuff company called “Yue Yan Delicacies”.
Despite my hiatus from photography, I am pleased with the results. I should also mention that this was my first foray into DSLR photography. I was previously trained to use film-based SLRs.
The following collages are just some of the shots I took.
I want to thank Yue Yan for giving me the opportunity to shoot their products. They produce a wide range of high quality products, and they serve as the food OEM for several prestigious hotels in Singapore (including a few 4 and 5 star hotels).
If you enjoy local delicacies from hotels, there’s a high possibility you may have already eaten their products without knowing it.
